Crest Pro-Health Advanced Mouthwash Review 2023
In this article, we are reviewing Crest Pro-Health Advanced mouthwash. Similar to our previous tests with mouthwash, we are going to test its taste and smell, its price between competitors, does it burn when used, when you should use it, and any features that might make it stand out among other mouthwashes.
Crest Pro-Health Advanced Mouthwash Taste & Smell
The scent that we tested is called Energizing Mint. It is supposed to be a mint flavor, which seemed very subtle when using. There was a slight aftertaste and texture that made it seem like you were using Pepto-Bismol.
For the smell test, we did the hand-to-breath test and also had one of our other co-workers smell our breath as well. It does have a minty smell but the smell strength
We scored the taste level at 3 stars just because of the aftertaste. The smell we gave it a 4 because it had the fresh mint smell but was just not strong enough.

How Much Does Crest Pro-Health Advanced Cost?
We purchased the Crest Pro-Health on Amazon at the price of $6.97. Depending on when you read this article, the price might have changed. Based on the 32 Fluid Ounces in the bottle, that comes out to $.22/Fl Oz. It is well priced among some of its competitors and we gave it 4 stars. Below are a few other brand comparisons on price.Â

Does it Burn When Used?
Crest Pro-Health Advanced Mouthwash being alcohol-free should not have a burning sensation, but it did during our test. Not something you feel right away but definitely does start burning when using. We would give it 3.5 stars because it does have a slight burn when compared to something like the ACT Anticavity Zero Alcohol Fluoride Mouthwash.

When Should You Use It?
The manufacturer recommends using the Crest Pro-Health twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night after brushing your teeth.Â
We find it okay to only use it once a day and twice if needed. The main reason to use it twice a day is for the teeth whitening support you will receive.Â
Benefits of Crest Pro-Health Over Other Mouthwash
Crest Pro-Health is a great choice for a mouthwash. It does have some additional benefits when compared to other mouthwashes as well.Â
No Alcohol
We believe that no alcohol is always a benefit for mouthwash. Helps lower the burn and is just healthier overall in protecting your teeth.Â
Fluoride
It has fluoride as an ingredient as well which helps in strengthening teeth, it can help resist decay and also help prevent cavities. Â
Teeth Whitening
If you are looking for teeth whitening, then the Crest Pro-Health is a great option as a two-in-one. It does slightly foam up when used to help with teeth whitening. It can take about two weeks of daily usage to start seeing results.Â
Overall Rating
Our overall rating of the Crest Pro-Health Mouthwash is positive. We didn’t like that the taste was subtle and had a small aftertaste. Being that it is alcohol-free and also offers teeth whitening was a plus for us in our rating. We rate it a 3.5 out of 5.
