A lot of individuals love using garlic in their recipes. It just adds a great taste and distinct smell that people end up loving.

But the smell that garlic leaves on your hands especially if you were chopping it up, can be lasting and hard to get rid of.

How to Get Garlic Smell Off Hands

It is really simple to get the smell of garlic off of your hands. You are going to need some soap, a sink, and a stainless steel soap bar. A stainless steel bar works a lot like a magnet. It bonds with the food odor molecules removing them from your hand.

  1. First step is to make sure that you are not using hot water. That will open up your pores causing the odor to go deeper making the process slightly difficult.
  2. Wet your hands over the sink and start rubbing it with the soap.
  3. Once you have done rubbing your hands with soap, rinse it off and grab your stainless steel soap bar. Just like you would rub your hands on a regular bar of soap, do the same with the steel soap bar for about a minute.

Once you are complete with the process your hands should be smelling great and not show any hints of garlic. If you are still experiencing a faint amount of smell, repeat the steps one more time.
